HAGAR ZUR
Graduated with honors from the Faculty of Architecture and Town Planning at the Technion.
With 20 years of experience in Israel and the Netherlands, Hagar specialized in urban design and the regeneration of weak urban fabrics in both city centers and their peripheries.
Her work in the Netherlands includes flag projects such as the development of a residential neighborhood in
a revitalized port area in southern Holland, urban planning along a light rail line in Leiden,
the transformation of Rotterdam’s historic hospital complex into a residential neighborhood, and the rehabilitation of a neighborhood in western Amsterdam — a process that involved public participation from the initial sketch stage to the final selected model.
As her career in urban design advanced, she was part of the team that established an academic urban design program at Breda University. She also taught at the Academy of Architecture in Amsterdam, at the Technion in Haifa, and at the School of Design at the College of Management.

ABOUT US
Studio Zura specializes in landscape architecture and urban planning,
with a strong focus on urban forestry and sustainable city design.
We integrate trees as a vital part of urban infrastructure, creating climate-responsive environments that enhance urban living.
Our expertise spans development and execution plans, as well as landscape rehabilitation for streets, quarries, infrastructure and water facilities. We are dedicated to urban revitalization, restoring sensitive natural resources, and fostering community engagement through the creation of community gardens.
Additionally, we design sculptures, memorial sites, and built elements, blending aesthetics with functionality in the public realm.
